Welcome to Hawley Custom, the firearms division of Experimental Machining. Here we utilize our our extensive knowlege of precision metalwork and our background in competitive pistol shooting to build high quality firearms for IPSC, IDPA and Steel Challenge shooting. We work primarily on STI, Colt and Springfield Armory pistols, but also work with Glock, Tanfoglio and CZ firearms, as well as Caspian components. We use only the best parts and materials, and make many of our own components in-house. We specialize in high quality steel and titanium compensators for 1911, Glock, CZ and Tanfoglio/EAA pistols.
Our comps are made of EDT-150 prehardened chrome moly steel, heat treated titanium 6-4 or heat treated 17-4 stainless. We have designs tuned for major and minor loads, barrel length, slide weight, and caliber.
We also offer slide lightening, sight and scope installation, tungsten sleeved bull barrels, complete top end replacement, tungsten guide rods, trigger work for competition or carry, metal checkering, and many other services. Feel free to contact us with your particular requirements.
